Iran officials vow revenge, warn US and ''Israel'' crossed ''red lines''

Avenging the blood of the martyrs remains a serious matter and an integral part of the Revolution’s path, Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council and military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic, said.

Hawzah News Agency- Rezaei stated that US President Donald Trump and Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "crossed Iran's red lines," stressing that their actions must be met with "decisive and proportionate punishment."

He added, "If the assassination of leaders becomes a routine practice, no country will enjoy security."

In a similar vein, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, affirmed that avenging the blood of the martyred leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei and the martyrs is "an inevitable duty."

Boroujerdi said that US President Donald Trump, Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and their "executive agents" should "expect, at any moment, an act of vengeance at the hands of the free people of the world."

He added that "no place in the world, not even the White House, will be safe for these treaty-violating and criminal regimes."

Boroujerdi argued that "revenge against the aggressors is no longer confined to a limited response but has evolved into a global movement."

The assassination of the former Iranian leader, Martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei, will, beyond doubt, be avenged by the nation, and the perpetrators will carry to their graves the unfulfilled wish for a peaceful death, Iran's Leader Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei declared in a message released on the occasion of his father's funeral and burial.

The letter, titled "We Must Rise," coincided with the burial of the late leader as tens of millions of mourners gathered in cities across both countries, including Tehran, Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad.

In his message, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei issued a direct threat to those responsible for the Leader's martyrdom. "We pledge to exact vengeance for your pure blood and the blood of all the martyrs of these two wars from the criminal and disgraced killers," he said, adding that "this retribution is the people's demand, and it will inevitably be fulfilled."

The leader of Iran directly addressed the United States and "Israel", the two parties responsible for the assassination of Sayyed Ali Khamenei, asserting that Iranian intelligence possesses a complete list of those responsible. "These criminals, whose list from top to bottom is fully in our hands, will carry the wish for a peaceful death in their beds to their graves," he wrote.

He further stressed that retaliation is not contingent on his personal survival, saying, "This mission does not depend on my personal survival or that of any other official. Whether we are here or not, this will be fulfilled, and soon, free people across the world will each execute a part of this divine mission."

On Tuesday, millions of mourners packed the streets of the holy city of Qom, home to Iran's foremost religious seminaries and shrines, with a population of approximately 1.5 million, to perform funeral prayers for the martyred leader and members of his family who were also killed in the February 28 bombing. July 7 and 8 saw Iraq hold its own monumental funeral rites in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. A sea of mourners, estimated at over 2.3 million, flooded the sacred city in what officials described as one of the largest processions in modern regional history. Following the Najaf ceremonies, the body of the martyred leader arrived in Iraq's Karbala province, where millions of mourners were awaiting the start of the funeral ceremony.

The burial ceremony concluded in Sayyed Khamenei's hometown of Mashhad on July 9, where millions gathered to bid their final farewell. Iran's state broadcaster confirmed that the martyred leader was laid to rest at the Dar al-Dhikr portico within the Imam Reza Shrine, one of the most revered religious sites in Shia Islam.

Throughout a week of mourning, the ceremonies continued to draw crowds of a scale rarely witnessed in contemporary times, standing as a testament to the profound impact of the martyred leader across the region and beyond.
